Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of slide.garden (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

slide.garden is a creator tool for designing slideshow templates, preparing slide content, scheduling drafts, and uploading finished carousels to your TikTok inbox. You remain responsible for reviewing and publishing content inside TikTok. The Service does not auto-publish live TikTok posts.

Features may change as we improve the product. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice when practical.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these Terms or applicable platform policies (including TikTok’s).

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create for your use. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service (including preparing assets you request and sending draft media to TikTok at your direction).

You represent that you have the rights to the materials you provide and that your use complies with law and third-party terms. You are solely responsible for the captions, images, claims, and other content associated with drafts you create or upload.

5. Review before publishing

Slideshow drafts and templated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. You must review all slideshow drafts before publishing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service or of third-party platforms you connect.

6. TikTok integration

Connecting TikTok is optional and governed by TikTok’s terms and developer policies. We use authorized scopes for basic/profile user info and draft upload only. Token access is used to perform actions you initiate (such as uploading a draft to your inbox). Rate limits and platform caps may apply; failed uploads due to TikTok limits or policy enforcement are not a breach by us.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Create, upload, or distribute illegal, harmful, deceptive, hateful, or infringing content.
  • Violate TikTok’s Community Guidelines, Developer Terms, or other applicable platform rules.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, probe, or disrupt the Service, or circumvent security or usage limits.
  • Reverse engineer the Service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Resell or misuse API access, tokens, or other users’ data.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by slide.garden and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property except as needed to use the Service as intended.

9. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content created with the Service will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS (INCLUDING TIKTOK), EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, to protect the Service or its users, or if required by law or a platform partner.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
